PURPOSE:
What Matters Most: Time Management for Increased Productivity is designed to help people gain greater control of their time and their lives.

The principles and tools of time management presented in this program are universal.  The program is designed for anyone wishing to increase effectiveness on the job, reduce stress, and achieve What Matters Most.

TOOLS:

The Franklin Day Planner System is recognized world-wide as a comprehensive, whole-life time management system.  The Franklin Planner is a comprehensive organizer that helps integrate time management principles and strategies into everyday life.

Participants are encouraged to bring their own PDAs and/or laptop computers with Palm software or Outlook to coordinate with the Franklin Day Planner System. 

Each participant receives a starter kit that includes:

  • A seven-ring classic binder, or six-ring binders for compact and pocket

  • Pages for a Prioritized Daily Task List, Appointment Schedule, and Daily Record of Events

  • Month-at-a-glance divider tabs for full-year planning

  • A goals section for monitoring personal/business goals

  • A financial records section

  • Tabs to help track special projects

  • Key information and ready reference sections

  • An address and phone directory section

  • Storage binder

  • A Day Finder

SCHEDULE: 1-day (with follow-up for credit)
9:00 am to 4:00 pm                                        
SITE: Comfort Inn, Bismarck  
LODGING:

If you need lodging, a block of rooms is reserved under the ND LEAD Center.  Please make your own room reservation.  The hotel releases rooms three weeks prior to the event.  Call Comfort Inn at 701-223-1911.

GRADUATE CREDIT: Participants may earn one semester hour of graduate credit by completing the workshop and the follow-up requirements.  The cost is $60 and the credit is from NDSU. Checks are made out to ND LEAD.
COSTS: $180 - Registration Fee with Franklin Planner
$120 - Registration Fee without Franklin Planner
$60 - Optional Graduate Credit Fee
ORDER PLANNER SIZE:

When you register, if you are ordering a planner, you will need to select a size:

Classic - 5½ x 8½
Compact - 4¼ x 6¾
Pocket - 3½ x 6

Planner orders cannot be changed after April 17th.
